Asbury Plaza is 32-story high-rise apartment building in Chicago’s luxury River North neighborhood near the historic Chicago Riverwalk, Michigan Ave, the Loop, Navy Pier, and more.

The Challenge

In a competitive leasing environment such as Chicago’s River North district, Asbury Plaza turns to amenities to set itself apart from the other luxury high-rise communities such as a fitness center, pool, tech lounge, and more.

But with more residents expecting traditional amenities in multifamily buildings, Asbury Plaza needed new, unique amenities to attract and retain its residents.

The Solution

Asbury Plaza found 2ndKitchen to be a perfect fit to add to its existing set of amenities.

With 2ndKitchen, residents now have access to a unique breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night food menu available 7-days a week, all prepared by locally-owned restaurants.

All residents receive unlimited free delivery, discounted meal packages, a loyalty rewards program, and a dedicated location in the lobby of the building for contactless dropoff – making it the most affordable and convenient delivery option for Asbury Plaza residents.

With 2ndKitchen, Asbury also now hosts food popup on-site and on a weekly basis from Chicago’s most popular restaurants and food trucks. 

These events give residents access to a discounted menu of popular classics and exclusive food creations from Chicago’s most well-known restaurants such as Mini Mott, 5411 Empanadas, Parson’s Chicken & Fish, Kuma’s Corner, and more.

“2ndKitchen takes away all the planning and execution for these events.  This leaves more time for staff to address day-to-day operations,” said Asbury Plaza property manager Patrick Guercio.
